Bed and Breakfast

Why stay in a Hotel?  Asheville's Bed and Breakfast Homes allow you to experience the real Asheville.  Their quaint charm and outstanding friendly service is only surpassed by the luxury you will receive.  As I visit these establishments, I will report my findings and recommend the best in town.

I had the opportunity to visit The Black Walnut and I was very impressed with its charm, old style beauty and the friendliness of the owner.  The establishment boasts of 10 beautiful fireplaces, which gives that "at home" feeling while being spoiled with luxury and service.  If you are coming to Asheville, I recommend this place very highly as "The Place to Stay."  By the way, I heard that Sandra Bullock stayed there while she was filming the movie, 28 Days.  Sounds expensive... doesn't it?  Well you're wrong!  Go to their website at: http://www.blackwalnut.com/ or call them at: 800-381-3878.

The Black Wanut is located at: 288 Monford Ave. / Asheville, NC 28801 (walking distance to downtown).
