The Black Walnut
Southern Hospitality at its best!
From Thier Website: All guest rooms are embellished with fresh flowers, chocolates and luxury bedding, a selection of pillows for perfect comfort and all cotton high thread count sheets. The baths are complete with heavy and soft Turkish towels, as well as, Aveda bath products.
I had the opportunity to visit The Black Walnut and I was very impressed with its charm, old style beauty and the friendliness of the owner. The establishment boasts of 10 beautiful fireplaces, which gives that "at home" feeling while being spoiled with luxury and service. If you are coming to Asheville, I recommend this place very highly as "The Place to Stay." By the way, I heard that Sandra Bullock stayed there while she was filming the movie, 28 Days. Sounds expensive... doesn't it? Well you're wrong! Go to their website at: http://www.blackwalnut.com/ or call them at: 800-381-3878.
The Black Wanut is located at: 288 Monford Ave. / Asheville, NC 28801 (walking distance to downtown).
